When I first got the shoe 2 months ago it was great, good on edges and cracks, even great for bouldering. I like the 5-10 rubber much better but these were a good shoe for the money, well until the other day when the leather uppers ripped open. The leather falls apart, peices are falling off, the shoe is crap. I have never had a shoe do this before, and only after 2 months of moderate usage. I can tell you scarpa will not be getting any more of my money.

Customer Service

I will let you now I am trying to return these.

They fit like a glove. Of course that is useful only if you have narrow feet like me. I do really like the performance. They do most everything pretty darn well. The rubber scarpa uses is second (maybe) only to 5.10. If you are looking for a slipper that can go the distance all day on a variety of terrain and have it still perform on sporty stuff, the minima works.

The shoes fit my feet perfectly. I loike them alot. They are really good on small jibs, and overhanging faces. The shoes are holding up pretty well. I have a few pairs of five-tens and the rubber is much much better on them, but the scarpas are still pretty good.

Shoes fit who they fit. If it fits perfect buy it. They fit my feet so I love them. I can't rate how they fit because that doesn't help anyone but me. The rubber doesn't compare to five-ten or boreal rubber. The primary reason I give this the lowest rating is because Scarpa's (Black Diamond's)customer service sucks. It took 3 1/2 months to get my shoes. Otherwise they might get much higher rating. They get a one. Nothing has enough value to wait that long for no matter how cheap it is.

Customer Service

Their customer service sucks like none other!!! Three and a half months to get a pair of shoes? What's up with that? Don't buy these shoes through the company!!
