An awesome rope: soft, supple, and durable. Also no sheath slippage. Oh ya, it's cheap too.

I haven't owned any previous ropes, but for what it's worth I love this rope. I've tried out some of my friends ropes, and it is pretty nice compared to those. I think it clips pretty good, and it is really light weight. It does stretch quite a bit compared to other ropes. I don't know if thats really a good thing.

I bought a 60m standard flyer six months ago for $130. Its the best price I've found for a 60m. I love it. The smaller diameter makes clips easier than my 10.5mm black diamond. The rope is supple and easier to handle. I was worried about rope twist with the smaller diameter, but I haven't had a problem at all (can't say the same about my last two BD 10.5's). I can't say too much about wear yet since its only been on four or five trips so far. The black middle mark thats standard on all Beals is pretty nice. Its not as obvious anymore, after some use, but its still easy to find and better than using a marker. The glowing blue color is cool too, for what its worth. I also dig Beal's yellow line too.
