It's a nice rope. It took several lead falls, both indoors and out. Ran it over rough rock and it performed well. After 3 years, there's one fray that makes me a little concerned, so it's time to retire it to toproping on the nonfrayed half. The only downside is that it tends to curl when belaying on an ATC. I think I'll go for a 70 m galaxy next time. Lighter and longer.

I use mine for top roping in dry outdoor conditions only, and find it to be a great rope. A nice design balance for my use, supple but not too soft, firm but enough stretch for comfort. I'm glad I bought it.

Very durable rope. I have two bi-colours that, while not looking brand new, look great for having several years of climbing (including much toproping with newbies). Rope handling is a breeze. Low point would be how well these ropes suck up dirt (then again that may be myself and who i climb with more than the rope). I have not exposed my ropes to more than a light sprinkle so cannot say much as to how Mammut's DWR functions. I probably wouldn't have bought new due to price, but if you get one on sale or a never used one from a friend who overstocked, by all means go for it.

My first rope. I''ve put one good season of toproping and sportclimbing on it. I have the dry duodess rope. The two diffrent colors is great I never thought I used it as much as I did untill I starded using my friends rope with just a marked middle. I like the way this rope handle. Its alot nicer to tie into than alot of other ropes. The dry coat makes the rope wear better as well as it drys( Danger, not in the sun!!!) faster after washing and it cleans up well.

This rope has the best feel and hand of any rope I have owned over the last 10 years. It is very easy to tie knots with and rappels are also smooth. I have taken a couple leader falls on this rope and the impact force is as good as any rope I have had.

I've only climbed with this rope twice, but it worked great. Not a single fray, and the fall I took left me shaken but not stirred. For the price, you can't beat it. If you've got the extra cash, go for the Edelweiss Stratos, though.

Awesome! Have been using it for over a year for sportcimbing: lead/toproping. Very little wear, pretty good weight, nice surface and great impact response.
