Others rope makers say they have the lightest twin rope, but currently this is it, and at 34g/M, its much lighter. It's strong, used as twin ropes, they are tested to hold 12 falls with the single rope 80kg test. Their big advantage is the extra lenth on raps or with 2 people following. The bigest drawback is fooling around with 2 skinny ropes that tend to tangle more than thicker ropes. If you can walk off the back side of the route, take a regular single rope. PS It's easier to keep track of them if you get each rope in a different color.

Customer Service

I couldn't find these ropes for sale anywhere on the web. I had to special order them from Marmot. They came into the store in about 10 days.
