AIRE Force XL Inflatables

AIRE Force XL Inflatables

DESCRIPTION

The Force XL is a 10% larger version of the Force and is the most popular one person boat in our fleet. A one-inch larger side tube makes a two-inch wider 34" beam for more stability. The nine-inches of extra length increases tracking and helps punch through the big stuff.

Paddler

Not a boat for beginners if you are tackling class 3 and above right off the bat. Paddles much easier then the Lynx but is very tippy---so if you don't have an effective brace already be prepared to start with easy rivers and work up. That being said this thing is great once you get you to its little quirks. It is fast down river and very manuverable compared to other inflatables I have paddled(a lynx, soar paddle cat, super lynx and sea eagle 300). Now it can be rolled but don't count on it unless you have already perfected a roll--it takes a really hard hip snap to get it up. It does brace easily but count on swimming some as you learn the boat(unless you are already a good hardsheller---the experienced hard sheller who paddled my was pretty impressed and handled the boat like a pro immediately.)

Customer Service

customer service seems great---but all I have done so far is call for info. These boats are tough.
