Nice and light shoes, I have sneakers that are heavier. Just wish Alchemy would not put lowend bindings on such an outstanding snowshoe. the bindings are impossible with gloves, and the adjustment for the heel is hard to get snug. I have had the heel adjustment looosen up on the trail. Alchemy has better bindings ( ratchet type) but did not use them on these shoes. I would only reccomend these to people who have patience and dont mind readjusting the bindings. The shoe itself is excellent quality. Floats about average for a small shoe. I have a pair of MSR shoes and love the bindings. I wish that Alchemy would charge another 10-20 dollars and put thier better bindings on. Tubbs has similiar bindings on the Criterium I just dont understand cheap bindings on a otherwise high quality shoe.

Customer Service

No customer service experience, except that Alchemy lists one price on thier catalog page and a higher price on the checkout page. I called Alchemy and they will not honor the lower price saying they are slow to update thier catalog page. Seems like an easy thing to do if you can update the checkout price which is $20-30 more on average.
