Great shoe except for the lace/strap bindings. I don't know yet if I can switch out for buckles, i hope so. I often step out of these when I am running downhill. Uphill traction in CO powder is good though.

Excellent; Very stable, the built in crampons make going up and down steep hills as easy as walking on sand dunes.

Customer Service

Bent the crampons, broke one of the bolts that hold the plastic straps on a summer backcountry walk. Wan't exactly going easy on them. Probably my fault. Hope parts are replaceable...really hope I can exchange the straps for buckles.

great overall shoe for serious back country adventures. Narrow tail allows a bit more technical manuevering in srteep terrain. Meaty crampons help get over that obstacle too! Strap bindings leave a bit to be desired though, with out some mods they can slip off the heel in torquing situations.
