These puppies are WARM! They are sized a little small, so er about a size larger than you''d expect. I have a 33 in waist, and I needed an XXl to fit over my 300 wt fleece pants/goretex. For 15.00 more I had suspenders added which was worth every penny! Many people complain about Feathered Friends''s customer service, and speed to which they produce thier garments but I was pleasantly surprised. They told me 4-6 weeks, and I had them in 2 weeks! The Epic works well, and is still "down" comfy. All in all, a great buy if your butt gets cold.

The Feathered Friends Helios Pants are one of the best investments I have made. The lightweight and compactness of the pants make them great for backpacking. I do have to say though that I had to have mine customized by adding four extra inches. It not only brought the price way up but added more time in getting the pants. These pants are great for layering and have worked well for me.
