Great product. I''ve worn it in drenching rain, cold, and even merely cool days. In rain it repels fairly well. Having only two vents may not be as good as parkas with vents all over the place, but it performs well. I wear it with the down liner when it gets real cold, but even with only a fleece liner (fleece jackets from REI zip right into it) it handled most of this (mild) winter. For the price, the versitility can''t be beat.

This is a great system. The down interior is a great stand-alone jacket and can be worn year-round (as long as it's not -10000000 degrees Farenheit). The shell is nice as well, completely waterproof. But together, you could withstand anything that nature may throw at you, and trust me, it can be unforgiving up here. Also, this has great construction, and I bet that I'll be able to enjoy it for years to come.
