I have the longsleeve type. It's been my first layer of defense for three ski seasons. Also great for cool weather mountainbiking. Needs to be washed frequently since it traps BO. Worth the price! Similar Products Used: None |

I have worn this shirt both in extremely hot conditions and also in cooler conditions. It does a killer job of wicking but will also keep you surprisingly warm in cooler temperatures. You will find yourself wearing this shirt more and more off the trail as well. Worth every penny! Similar Products Used: polypro etc. |

I perspire easily and heavily. The silkweight capilene always feels good no matter how much I sweat. The light(3.5oz.) material, and relaxed cut make for use in all conditions, all seasons. It also layers very well because of its slick, slippery feel next to the skin.I was leery of this slickness at first,I thought it may be clammy upon perspiring........I was pleasantly surprised. It dries very quickly and leaves my feeling dry,not clammy like traditional performance knits.I've tried many brands over the years looking for a very breathable underwear, silkweight is it.The only other brand that left me feeling this good is EMS Lightweight Bergelene. Customer Service Patagonia has very good customer service. If their products fail to give you satisfaction or prove unreliable, they'll do what it takes to make you satisfied.I had some lightweight capilene from a few years ago that I thought did not wick well,I sent them back and they replaced them.
