I bought two of these shirts on at the Patagonia warehouse in Reno at the beginning of the winter for cycling. They work real well under a jersey if you're to poor to buy a long sleeved jersey for winter ridding or, want to extend the funtionallity of your summer clothing. Capeline wicks very well and remains warm while wet, like all other polyester type underwear. When patagonia says "stretch" they don't mean skinsuit tight stretch they mean "tighter fitting". They are nowhere near as tight as half my cycling jerseys but, they don't fit all baggy like most of patagonia's other large and extra large sizes. Sometimes I wear two of silkweight shirts at once so that I can take one off when I warm up and throw it back on when I reach the summit for the downhill. Remember, like most long underwear these shirts don't block the wind at all. Bring a nylon shell for that. I'll give it five trees for overall but, three for value. Nobody can justify 45 bucks for a polyester shirt. Customer Service I've never dealt with patagonia's customer service. Similar Products Used: I've got some thermax long underwear that is too heavy and baggy so I wear this. |
