I''''ve had one of these "fleece sweaters" for about ten years. Fleece is warm, light, breathable and stays that way even when it''''s wet.?xD;?xA;Fleece does not block wind. If you want to block the wind (and cut down on the breathability of a gament) put on a nylon shell.?xD;?xA;What more do I have to say about it? It fits. It keeps me warm and, it''''s lasted more than any other piece of clothing that I''''ve ever owned.?xD;?xA;The lycra on the cuffs pilled a little and, it''''s got damage from a Peak 1 stove flare up but, other than that, it''''s in excellent condition.

This is a nice warm item to have. A shell is also needed since wind goes right through this fleece. It does not compress very well so it takes up a lot of room in your pack. Worth the weight if your cold.
