Purchased the jacket yesterday and road today in new snow. I was mountain biking at my ususal place, rolling terrain, short climbs, and quick turns. Normally I overheat in my Gamma Jacket. This was perfect with the Arcteryx LTW underneath. Temp was 28 F with light snow and no wind. I was cold at first, for maybe 10 minutes, and after that, for the next two hours, I was warm. I unzipped the side pockets for a little ventilation and it seemed to work.Only time I was cold again was when I was loading up at the end of the ride. I liked the stretch of the jacket as well as the extended length in the back. I am sure the cold beer that I had at the end of the ride contributed to the chill.
