Marmot Osprey Jacket Shell Jackets

Marmot Osprey Jacket Shell Jackets

DESCRIPTION

This is the lightest waterproof/breathable jacket that we have ever built. Key to its ultra, Ultralight status is the new Gore-Tex® PACLITE technology. PACLITE is the lightest of Gore's® waterproof technologies. It uses dots to protect the inner barrier instead of a full tricot laminate.

This jacket is worn in the Rocky Mountains and around home. Great for warmth and waterproofness and features in hood and zippers make it comfortable and ergonomic. Velcro can sometimes snag other fabrics but it is still necessary when using gloves or have hands busy with climbing or skiig.

Light, storm-proof, GREAT. Very functional hood (smaller than in thunderlight). Breathability is better than in 2 and 3-ply gore. I use this jacket for winter running and
four season survival activities. And as a normal jacket...everyday.
My only concern is the durability of the exposed gore-layer. My jacket
shows wearing off gore at a couple of spots. But nothing alarming after 4 months of
everyday use.
