Mountain Hardwear Ascent Bib Shell Jackets

Mountain Hardwear Ascent Bib Shell Jackets

DESCRIPTION

Even if you only get to the backcountry a few times a year, you'll appreciate the Ascent Bib. It covers that vulnerable juncture between the upper and lower halves of your body - no powder down your pants, no drafts to your midriff. Plus, there's nothing cinching your waist when you're slogging up a hill. Made of waterproof, breathable, durable 2-layer Conduit and reinforced with nylon oxford both at the seat and the fully articulated knees, the Ascent Bib has you covered. Secure the double Velcro waist tabs and unzip the full-length side zips (with our Simplex construction) to get more-than-ample ventilation. Built-in powder cuffs seal with Velcro and a snap (their webbing loops can be strung with cord to create a gaiter). The extra-high back with stretch panel and the adjustable elastic suspenders give a comfortable fit. Ambush edge guards protect from ski edges.

Well constructed bibs that are waterproof and breathable. All stress areas are covered with a very supple nylon oxford material. I have skiied in them as well as hiked in them. No complaints or limitations.
