Mountain Hardwear Exposure Pant Shell Jackets

Mountain Hardwear Exposure Pant Shell Jackets

DESCRIPTION

The Exposure Pant offers unmatched mobility in an exceptionally durable package. Three-piece knees (both the lining and shell are articulated) allow for unimpeded movement. Seat and knees have abrasion-resistant polyester reinforcements, while Ballistics edge guards protect the inner cuffs from ski edges and crampons. Two-way fully separating Simplex side zips are waterproof without the bulk of double overflaps. They provide maximum ventilation and easy layer changes. Double Velcro® waist flaps attach on the inside and the outside of the waistband, increasing the strength of the closure - very important when you open the side zips for ventilation. Gripper powder cuffs seal with Velcro and a snap, and have loops for use as a gaiter. Rounding out the Men's version is an elastic back, an adjustable webbing belt, and a rear zip pocket.

Day Hiker

These pants are for the most part good. They can be a little bit heavy on warm days but can be easily ventilated with the side zips. They have certainly held up better than any other shell pants that I've used. When other pants get sliced by skis and scuffed by boots nothing happens to these. They are also super comfortable. The negative is that the fabric is not highyl resistant to tears. I shredded a leg and the back in a tumble at Mad Rver.

Customer Service

Customer service was good. They repaired my pants where I had ripped them in about four weeks. I got a new, more abrasion resistant seat without even askign for it.
