Pure function, no superfluous features, with the absolutely flawless construction we've come to expect from Patagonia. Nary a missed stitch or a questionable seal. Fit and range of motion are superb thanks to the elastic waterproof membranes in the elbow, tricep, lat, and scapular areas of the shell. The powder skirt is snug and effective. The hood can be cinched and collapsed to stay nicely out of the way when not in use. Needless to say, I highly recommend the shell. |

this coat is great, but don't buy it if you plan on wearing a pack that has a hip belt. the pockets run right under the belt when you buckle it up. if you mostly do resort riding it is excellent |
