I have to agree with the previous review. These pants are great in terms of water resistance, and comfort. They dont stick to your skin when you sweat, and shed water very well.

Took these up Longs Peak, and had to take shelter under a rock when a storm rolled in. ONE nap under that rock, and I also have a hole in the seat. Very disappointing. For the price you would think they could take a little more abuse than that.

All the comfort and water resistance in the world wont do you any good if they dont stay in one piece!

I have only used once, on a two week backpacking trip in Tanzania, and it provided very light weight packable protection with no leaks for an amazingly low price. I was in love. Then I discovered the downside of that light weight when I sat on a relatively smooth boulder and puntured a hole in the seat. I knew it was not designed for bushwacking but I really did not think it should be that fragile. May last a little longer with a little duct tape patch but definitely would not rely on it for an extended trip again.
