I've had this watch for over 10 years, and I'm very fond of it. It's a very smart and stylish watch, but NOT overly so. It has most of the features I most wanted, particularly the heart rate monitor, compass, and altimeter functions. My only criticisms are that the batteries discharge rapidly when using the nightlight function; I've had to have the battery replaced quite often at times; many watch repairers aren't familiar with these watches; and the back plate is composite material, with an oversized slot for turning and removing the back (to exchange or service the battery), but that design isn't particularly sturdy or functional...
its composite material isn't substantive enough to resist being misshapen, whenever some ham-handed monkey tries to use a big coin to remove it! Not a good design here. So this only adds to the difficulty of removing overly tightened back plates. The watch has to be held securely in a suitable vise (watch repairer's) when removing the back, which most normal apes at home don't have at the ready! So removal often just further damages the slot in the back. The back plate gets overtightened too, leaving the BIG coin in one's hand, used to open the back, truly PRIMITIVE and all-but useless. The watch really needs a more modern, easier, and sturdier back plate design or material that can't be damaged so routinely. A special tool-friendly back would be a BIG improvement!
