Light, comfortable, not super durable.

I was fitted for these shoes by Lazlo Tibori, the famous middle/long distance runner and coach. I had previously run in various bargain basement Nike, Reeboks, and Adidas shoes that I bought for the price and the look. What a difference a serious shoe makes!
I trained for my first marathon in these, and am now on my 4th or 5th pair training for another marathon.
They are light weight and comfortable, with spacious toe box and good forefoot padding. Not right if you need lots of stability or support. Not the best looking shoes -- but that just means I keep mine for running, and don't wear them out around town. I replace mine after about 250-300 miles (which is on the low side for some shoes), but at the close-out prices you can get at RoadRunnerSports.com, I think these are an excellent buy. My wife also wears a pair and likes them too.
