It's like I'm flying with these shoes. People call me the bat. It is simple fact that Asics is superior to other brands.

On flat smooth hard surfaces the shoes made me cry for my super cushioned road shoes, but apply some uneven single track with roots, rock, turns, climbs and decents and I am like a kid in the cookie jar. The low profile helped avoid turning my ankle (on the stuff I don''t see due to lack of oxygen to the brain). Traction is very good on steep steep climbs that make my kneecaps feel like they are going to rip out of place. And since I am not great at running down hills I am able to put the throttle the brakes on without fear of washing out. Great shoe that I''ve only run in dry conditions. I''ve got 2 problems with these shoes, 1)running to the trailhead and 2)having such a great time on the trails that I am beginning to overtrain.
