just got em in the mail today. owned the first Gel Trabuco from 1998 or so...wore them til they were dead, but loved them so much that i just went and ordered the new model in the same size(10), and just bit the bullet. they are quite nice so far, with a lot of comfort right out of the box. i have a wide, fairly flat foot with a high instep, and these accomodate me nicely. they have good support in the heel, and have a nice wide sole that makes them feel stable. good traction on the soles as well. they are a little flashier than i like, but i had to sacrifice, banking on the old model. some features that i don''t quite understand...i.e. the elastic loops on the heel tab, and some of the funky patch-work on the tounge...there are also a couple of stripes on the heel that are presumably for reflective purpose, but to me they''re just a bit excessive(technically, these sneaks are for trail running anyhow, so how many cars are gonna need to dodge you?...ah) otherwise, the material is light, and breathable..... i''m pretty pleased so far, and if my opinion changes, i''ll certainly come with it. feel free to lend comment or explanation to any of my opinions... be healthy all:)
