Strength:

I picked up the Legacy w/out demoing because of high praise from friends on other NS models, it is American made and it comes with an unequaled 3 year warranty. Oh, and lots of research. Valdosta mobile truck engine repair

A great product. The magnetic-based resistance (it uses electro-magnets to provide resistance, rather than friction belts or the like) gives a very smooth, even, and quiet performance. I've owned my bodyguard stepper for about 3 years now, and average more than 6 hours per week on it. The controls are simple and intuitive, the machine works very very well. I've used just about every other machine on the market (I do a lot of business travel, so I use stair steppers in hotel fitness facilities a great deal.) and the bodyguard is by far the best.

Customer Service

Customer service is good. A weld broke on my pedal. I got no help at all from the store I bought it from. I called the manufacturer. Even though I had no receipt or proof of purchase, they shipped me out a part the next day, at no cost to me. I was up and stepping again within 4 days from my call. The customer service people were helpful and professional. I installed the part myself (a 10 minute operation), but they said that if I had trouble, they would send a technician to my home to do it for me at no cost. A great experience that other companies should learn from.

Customer Service

Customer service is excellent. After a couple of years, one of the pedals broke. I couldn't get any help from the store I bought it from, so I called Bodyguard directly. I didn't have a receipt or other proof of purchase, but they were very helpful anyway. They sent me the part airmail at no charge, which I replaced myself in about 10 minutes. They said that if I had trouble fixing it myself, that they would send someone to my house to install the part for me at no charge. Overall, a great experience. Other companies could learn from their example.
