We just did a week''s ski trip to Mt. Tremblant, where conditions can range from the best to the worst in the space of a few days (as this past week) - groomed, packed powder; fresh powder; rain and really heavy stuff; ice. My new K2:Nine Flight did fine on all but the heavy stuff...the latter no fault of their own. You needed legs of iron. Plenty of control on all slopes in almost all conditions; great carving, speed, and control when conditions were truly good. Could go easily on blacks that I had found almost too challenging in the past. My only concern: have I bought them too short?? I''m 5''4"; skis are 153''s....eyebrow height. They''re fun as they are, but should I be challenging myself a little more with longer skis?

I have been skiing for about 10 years, and always purchased the cheapest skis at the tent sale in the past. This year, I decided to research and find the best ski for me. I read every website I could find, and demo-ed several different pairs of skis, and decided on the K2 T9s. I have not had one moment of regret. I started skiing with them at Grand Targhee in Wyoming...we had 40 inches of powder the week I was there, and they performed beautifully. They also have been exceptional back here in the East on the iciest of slopes.
