Rossignol T-Power Viper S All Mountain

Rossignol T-Power Viper S All Mountain

DESCRIPTION

Designed specifically for shorter lengths, this ski provides new levels of agility, with the edge grip and power of traditional ski lengths.. T-Power provides increased stability, edge grip and control--all in a much smaller package. Dualtec 2000 construction uses higher sidewalls for increased edge grip. Suspension Platform incorporates the use of materials that help absorb vibrations and increase versatility. A layer of visco-elastic material is sandwiched between the cap and sidewalls to filter vibrations for increased edge grip and stability.

I got these skis two years ago after one of my friends won a trip for 7 to Whistler BC. I LOVE these skis. They are quick edge to edge and somewhat stable at high speeds. I have the Rossi 100 bindings on them.

Excellent ski for those who like to do quick, short turns. Very good rebound with a lot of "spring" coming out of the turn. Nice feel. Ski with an axial, turntable binding.

These skis rip! They are best at under 6 inches of fresh snow. Just stay centered and turning is easy, and control at high speed is there.

I demoed these skis last year and loved them. So I decided to buy a pair (with the Axila 120 bindings) this year. I ski every where with them, groom, crud, glades and bumbs. They are very fast skis and they turn easily. I am 5''''''''''''''''9", 142 lbs, on 167 cm and I just fly with them. I find that these skis have have a short sweet spot. Lean to much forward or to much backward and you are toast. If you are like me, well centered on the skis, you are going to love it. Definitly not for beginners. The only downside, powder. I went to Chamonix and learned it the hard way. I constantly had to jump to keep the skis a float. Very tirying.
