Volkl Vertigo G2 energY All Mountain

Volkl Vertigo G2 energY All Mountain

DESCRIPTION

Versatile skis at a great price--offering excellent performance on groomed trails, packed snow and even in deep powder.. Volkl's energY technology uses chambers in the core to store energy as the ski flexes and then releases it as acceleration at the end of the turn. 3D Sidecut technology creates tip-to-tail contact the moment the ski is tipped on edge, resulting in even pressure over the length of the edge. These technologies give the skier more control and easier turn initiation for a better skiing experience.

Bought these skis in the 2001-2001 season when I was skiing at intermediate levels. They served very well for on-piste cruising and recreational skiing. Their wide side-cut is outstanding for all kinds of snow conditions, from groomed snow pellets to powder. I learned a great deal on these skis. They are forgiving and very smooth riding in general use. When you really point them down the mountain and push up the speed, they do lack a solid feel. But, nonetheless, they are very nimble in their turning ability.
