I love My A Frames. They look good. They have great optics. They virtually never fog up. What more could I want?

Customer Service

Great, I guess

These goggles are awesome. They never fog! I've got the blue iridium lense with a carbon fiber frame. They look totally dope! I just got the new "Wisdom" frame with persimmon lense, and they're even better! All the same great qualities, with better venting on the bottom. The foam on the A-frames freezes up when I'm riding hard, and the Wisdom has a hard plastic vent on the bottom, and better peripheral vision. They look even better than the A-frames!!! I bought my Wisdom pair for only 80.00!!!

I started with a pair of Smith Classics that had been an X-mas gift. Once I became fed up with the lack of anti-fogging and the lack of style they had, I bought a pair of Smith PMTs. Now I can only put those down due to their useless lens tints. After some asking around and some dealing had been done with a few friends I had working at Hidden Valley, I ended up with a pair of Spy Scoops. They were the Zebra frame with Rose/Silver Flash Lenses. The frame was just a smidge too tight, but other than that, it was a well constructed goggle. But then one day, when I was out riding in an ice storm, the vents on the top iced up, froze the glue, and cracked off without me noticing it until the end of my session. I am now the proud owner of a pair of Oakley A Frames. They are carbon fiber with black iridium lenses. The style just flows off of every curve on these things. They don't fog up as long as they're on your face. This is quite possibly the best goggle we may see for some time. I back it 100% dawg.

Bought these goggles because my old Smiths didn''''t work with my new Giro helmet. The A-frames fit great. Bright sun or flat light the optics can''''t be beat. My only complaint since I wear glasses is that despite claims, they still fog up under humid conditions. However as soon as I pick up some speed they clear themselves pretty good. If only the IR lenses would come down in price.

i bought these goggles with the fire lens. they are an awesome goggle. best i have ever worn. the fire lens is great during those really bright days and everyday day time skiing. at night they aren''t the greatest. they make it a bit too dark to see ice and stuff, but they are still pretty good. i have been told the lens can get scratched very easily if not careful. they were easily worth the $100.

Bought the goggles with a helmet and the goggles fit ''OK''. I then ran across the Helmet Kit, after skiing this entire year so far with out it, and bought it because it was at 50% off end of year sale(15.00 regular). After 1 trip I wish I would have known about the helmet kit, and I would have paid double for it. The A-Frames with the helmet kit are well worth the money. Without the helmet kit, you are simply paying for the name. Now if they would just lower the prices on the iridium lenses I would be really happy.

I purchased the A-Frames with the H.I. Blue lenses to help in the flat light. I was not disappointed - total clarity and perfect definition. My only complaint is the headband. I at first thought that maybe Oakley had sent me the chlidren''s version of the A-Frame because the band was so tight. I opened the band to its max size and it is still very snug. Add a knit ski hat and it gets even tighter! I put up with the discomfort because seeing in flat light was more important, but at the end of the day I had marks on my face and a slight headache. I tried on a pair of O-Frames and the headband was not as tight - too bad the O-Frames do not have the same optics as the A-Frames. I contacted Oakley and they mentioned a helmet adapter I could purchase. I''m sorry, but for $120 I expect to not only have superior optics but a comfortable fit as well. The adapter would not have worked for me as I do not wear a helmet. Great optics, tight band. 2 stars - for this much money the fit should be better and I should not have to shell out more $$ to make it fit

Customer Service

Customer service was ok - what can you do if the goggles only come in one size? They said I could return them in 30 days if I am not satisfied...
