This piece from Marmot is my favorite base layer of all the tops I have tried. First off, the fabric has a little strech to it that provided a wonderful fit. This fit was also very comfortable and wasnt to tight. The detailing on all the stitching and seams is apparent and of top quality. Only complaint is that the zipper on the neck is a little slow but no big deal. I purchased this piece for $23 dollars and my value rating is based on that price.

This is my favorite shirt. It works for such a huge range of temps and zip necks are the best. I've got black for nice sun absorbtion on sunny hikes up back country ridges. Moisture management is good and it's not very smelly, as least after washings.

I where is shirt almost everytime I go play during the winter. It is very versatile. I wear it alone under my shell, in temps from the 40s on down to the teens, without overheating or getting too cold. Im impressed. It fits great, and the construction is very good also. It is a very nice product.
