I use this jacket for _mountain_biking, with or without baselayer -
It's simply PERFECT concerning _breathability_, weight, fit, comfort & feeling - much better than I actually expected: before I had problems with "overheating" using windstopper jackets - not with this jacket, the side "vents" keep your engines running at all times!!!
Exactly what I was always looking for (for years) !!!!

The only two (minor) drawbacks are its rather simple zipper (for arc teryx standards) and that the jacket is made in china (and not in Canada)
This jacket is worth every dime, so I don't complain about the price (250$ overseas)

A very comfortable jacket that is cut to be very close fitting and short. If you do not like jackets to fit too close by one size up. A highly breathable jacket that you will forget you even have on once doing activities. One slight downside, is that in just regular cold weather, this jacket alone does not provide as much warmth as one would hope. However, with one layering piece underneath it, it is just fine.

Arc'teryx makes awesome stuff and this jacket is no exception. I use it for everything: skiing, hiking, cycling, and everyday around town. Wind blockage is excellent but it lets you breath and its really light. The jacket is also bomb-proof, today I had a nasty end-over wipe-out on my bike. My left elbow and shoulder took the full force of the fall on rough asphalt and the jacket doesn't have a mark on it!! Oh yeh, it looks terrific too. You just can't go wrong with Arc'teryx.

This jacket was my first purchase of anything that was or the arc''teryx nature, and all i have to say is it far supperior to any other fleece jacket i haved ever known. The gore windstopper works wonderfully and keeps you nice and tosty on those cold windy days. I use the coat in a layerd order with my waterproof shell and I am yet to get a chill with it. If any complaint i have and a small one it is, is that i''m not the biggest fan of the elastic bottom. It does stop the updraft from comming under you but i like the coats that have the adusable draw string. All in all best fleece coat on the market.
