It is a great board for carving but I found it much too heavy for jumping. Also, I ended up taking off the break becauese it was a pain to ride with it in my hand. I would not get the break unless you are going to be doing a lot of single track. On the other hand, for the extra $30 or so the break might be worth it for you. You can allways take it off if you decide you don''t like. The break is a huge advantage when you don''t have enough room to carve. If your looking for a great carving board this is it.
