overall a great lid. comfy and warm yet it has enough vents for those warmer days. the ''02 skycap differs from the ''01 because it has the added vents on top, which cannot be closed like the vents in the front and back. if you ride a lot in cold weather then try to get a ''01 skycap or cover the vent of the ''02 skycap with stickers. if you do a lot of spring riding then the ''02 is the way to go. you won''t regret having those extra vents.

Strength:

my oakley o frames fit ok, does not seem to heat up, although i have only used it in mid jan

Weakness:

no crash replacement like most mountain bike helmets

at 130 bucks cdn, it wasn''t the cheapest helmet, but the adjustable ventine, it''s style, hopefully durabily and brain saving power.

Strength:

Light, good looking, comfortable, available in XL!

Weakness:

Ok, in ONE area the beanie wins: you cant fold up your helmet and put in in yr pocket!

Everyone seems to think "hey, I dont wanna look un-cool by wearin a helmet" just cos its saftey equipment. But the FACT is that a helmets is just A LOT BETTER THAN A BEANIE! It NEVER GETS WET, NEVER gets to hot/cold (vents), your goggles NEVER fall off, and as a bonus, it protects your head.
