Here is a little background about myself. I am 6'2"" tall and I weigh 200 lbs. I like to snowshoe in the backcountry which is usually deep powder. I recently purchased a pair of 1233's. They are sooooo sweet!!! I have used many different designs and brands of snowshoes and these are the best. They are a little expensive but if you shop around, you can get them for a reasonable price. I paid $200 for mine. (I never pay retail) If you are looking for the most comfortable and best built shoe on the market then the 1233's are the shoe for you. They are backed by a lifetime warranty so go out and abuse them! Have fun!

Just used these on a snowshow backpack in Rocky Mountain National Park, and boy are they SWEET! I've used MSR, Redfeather and Tubbs, but the bindings on these things work like none other. They just lock on to your boots all day long. And mind you, this was in new powder on a five-foot base and me (170 lbs) with a pack (~65 lbs). No loosening, great floatation. Put em on and forget they're there.
