Strength:

comfortable leather straps.

Weakness:

plastic pieces are not durable.

they are great. the straps are super comfortable but the plastic connector strap on the opposite side of the latch broke really easily. it was so hard to get and it was 20 bucks. burton makes it imposssible to fix the strap without buying a new strap. burton can be pretty lame but their products are good.

Wow! You cannot explain how good these bindings are. They are amazing. The leather straps are so comfertable!!!!!Also when you go off a kicker and land they have such good responce to land you flat rather then on your toe edge or your heel edge!!WOW they are amazing. I can't explain

Weakness:

some plastic wears. other then that, what weaknesses.

you have to buy these bindings they are amaing. If you pop 10 feet up of a kicker, the pading is so comfurtable that you do not feel it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look cool (and that's what its all about right?) Itialian Leather (so what, won't impress the girls I know...something wrong with American cows?) You can say that you own expensive CFX's Good binding if you have the right boot I guess

Weakness:

Plastic that can break Not very adjustable Expensive - there are way better bindings for the price

Every Burton binding including the CFX's have a fundamental problem IMHO and that is their overall plastic consruction and lack of heel adjustability. It sucks that Burton tries to squeeze every bit of cash that it can from its products by making them compatible with only Burton stuff (ie: 3-D hole pattern on decks) and the CFX's are no exception. The lack of foot length adjustablilty or heel width adjustability are unacceptable for a binding of this price. Do not buy these bindings unless you KNOW that they will fit your brand of boot. My old Burton Freestyle boots fit great (what a surprise!) but Northwave, DC and my new Vans couldn't even squeeze in (these are size 10 boots - pretty normal). I would have had to shave down the heels or something. Potential buyers take note that on EVERY Burton binding, the same plastic piece that makes the baseplate curves up and around the rear of the high back - meaning that where the foot sits in the binding cannot be adjusted very much. I love my Burton Custom snowboard...but I don't ride Burton bindings.

Strength:

soft straps...good control.

Weakness:

plastic crap...too fancy..they shouldve made things simple so they dont break. My Drake F60s are much better...simple and theyre durable.

It started out pretty good until things just started sucking. I like the soft straps..and it's actually pretty good but the plastic parts really suck. I broke off the highback adjuster, and the plastic rachet snags sometimes. its just really flimsy... I might try salomon SPX6 this season.

Perfect wherever u ride them. There is so many things that keep amazing u in these bindings.

Weakness:

No body can see them all covered in snow and with the snow pants on. (Haha)!!

These are simple best quality bindings that are such a joy to use. They have such a cool look .Eventhough many prople dis Burton. U got to hand it to them for putting great materials in bindings.LIke Carbon Fiber to give snap.

Strength:

Very light weight. Great boot to binding contact.

Weakness:

The highback didn''t fit tight against the baseplate so it wasn''t very rigid. I also broke the ledge on the baseplate that the highback locks into during a boardercross race on my 20th day riding the bindings.

I had the Missions from last year and decided to upgrade to the CFX for a stiffer/lighter binding. They are lighter, but from what I found is that I sold never get the Highback to fit the baseplate perfect, so the stiffness factor wasn''t any better than the Missions.

Great response and very light.

More response and lighter then the missions. A little stiffer too. The leather straps really make you feel like you don''t have straps on.

I never thought bindings could make a difference in your riding but after buying these i''m shocked. They are so responsive that u become a better carver automatically. And the lightness help while jumping and spinning. And to top it all off they are so comfortable! i thought the leather straps where a little sketchy compared to all the new tri-density and high-tech stuff other companies are using but leather is by far the way to go! it seems as tho the straps aren''t even there. They are definately for u if u like a stiff binding. After switching to the CFX''s u will for sure notice a big difference in your riding.

Customer Service

These are by far the best bindings you can buy. There are no other bindings that do what this binding can (comfort, adjustability, easy of use and most important comfort). I know there are a lot of anti-Burton hard core riders out there, I wasn''''t into his bindings as well. But these bindings s*@t-canned that idea. I have 32 boots which can sometimes be a hard fit. CFX''''s fit em perfect. I had the new Drake F60s took them back after problems with fit and comfort. Local shop hyped the CFX''''s and I read this site and decided the best is the best. Had them in the park off some hits first day out and supreme confidence builders. Went backcountry today (Crystal Mtn., WA- 20" cold powder) feet never went numb, had awesome highback response, could go where no man has gone before. Great product.

Customer Service

Excellent. Got some insight on a Saturday night to tuning the bindings'''' indepedant highback rotation. (Yes, you can pivot the highback indy of the straps)...

I sold my beloved Drake F-60''s last year to get a set of 2K1 CFX''s because I loved them so much. Since then I''ve gotten another pair! But after demo''ing the 2K2 CFX''s, I''d gladly sell both of my old CFX''s for the new ones. They are _that_ much better. First off, they went back to aluminum ratchets. Strapping in is now so much smoother and easier. You can totally tell the difference between the two. Secondly, for 2K2 the straps are a lot more cush. Not that the 2K1 straps weren''t dope, but these new straps are THE BOMB. And lastly, I think they dampened the baseplate a small bit. Although the high back remains as responsive as ever.

Customer Service

I hear Burton'' warranty is the best in the business.
