I puchased these bindings based on the reviews of this site. These bindings and company are great. I also purchased a set for my wife. They are a very responsive and solid binding. Last season I didn't summerize them and the ratchets rusted a bit. One letter to the company and they sent me 2 complete sets of ratchets and replacement straps. LIFETIME warranty is the real deal. This season I am putting on the "Baltimore Toe Strap" found on some of T9's other models. The only problem I had was the rear strap/highback hardware. It seemed to come loose often. They were so adjustable, that once I got them set to my liking, a $3 bottle of LocTite solved the problem. I check my bindings out of habit, but they have never worked loose all season.

Loved the bindings, heavy duty......and you gotta love tha lifetime warranty......everything on these bindings are adjustable.......but everything came loose......i haven't been using them long and i already lost to highback adjustment screws and blocks, 1 mounting screw, and a toe strap......if you get these you HAVE to tighten everything between usage.

This review is for 2003 model. Awesome bindings, definetly improve my skill, helps me to control the board alot. First I thought burton or some other bindings are great (tried them from rental) but after riding with this bindings nothing can be compared to. This thing is sweeet never had complaint about it, and if you broke it somehow, all you need to do is call them or send them email, you'd get the replacement parts for free... no shipping or anything and it's good for life time too!!! definitely recommeded. Don't even think to buy burton, K2, Drake, Flow or any other branded selling bullsh|t... trust me dude!

I think these bindings are great. I purchased a set for me and my wife based upon several reviews including this site. The bindings are easy to adjust and get in and out of. Technine rates the stiffness a 3 out of 4, but they seem very stiff. They work even when jammed with ice and snow. A hell of a deal for just over a c-note.

    Customer Service

The lifetime warranty is the real deal. I emailed Technine about two ratchets/buckles that had broken springs. The ratchets held, just a nuisance with the lever return. I reeived a package with two complete sets! with straps 3 days later. This company is confident in their product and backs it up, no questions asked.

this binding is the best!! think about the price you pay and the stuff you get out of it. Drake is over priced! technine will take you anywhere you wnat to go and let you do anything you want in a mountain and you'll still have some money to buy one of those over priced pizza at the bottom of the hill. but for real, this binding is sooooooo good. this season, i bought baltimore straps to go with it and just can't wait to try it out!!

    Strength:

They are durable as hell and alot lighter than they look. Nice response.

    Weakness:

    none so far.

I bought a pair of technine Ali Goulets. At first the straps had problems with jamming. So i gave their well acclaimed service department a call. They sent me the parts to fix my bindings. They arrived the next day. This warrenty is the real deal. After the problem was fixed these bindings are great.

    Weakness:

dont look as good as they could... ... need more looks and details.

These bindings are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! I recommend these to anyone. they are very comfortable with NO heel or toe lift. I went into the boardshop looking for drake bindings but came out with these. they are almost axactly the same except they have a lifetime warranty. LIFETIME. L I F E T I M E!! and they dont hessitate to help you out if something goes wrong. like when i got them i was missing the plates so i sent an e-mail and that same day they e-mailed back. and they sent me a pair of plates with a complementary leash for my troubles. the warranty is almost as goood as the bindings themselves............ ........... and the warranty is great.

Post-script to my earlier comment. I busted a toe strap. Clearly my fault but I won't go into details. I fessed up to Technine hoping to buy a replacement. They sent me an entire strap set free of charge. The life-time warranty is the real deal!!!!!!!!

    Strength:

For the money there is none better than The Technine Signature series. Maybe none better at any price. Build quality is excellent, strong, light, great action on the ratchet, comfortable straps. Wide enough to take modern style fat boots. So easy to tighten that I tend to crank them up too tight but that's not their fault. Highback improved over last year.

    Weakness:

Take a lot of adjustment to get right initially but that's the price of their high adjustability. If you don't want to spend time getting the set-up just right buy something else. If you're an enthusiast you will enjoy the time fiddling.

Top notch, honest no-hype well-crafted bindings from an old fashioned rider based company.
