my first set of bindings had messed up threads so my shop got me a new set. These bindings were very hard to adjust. You needed certain tools to get into that heelcup and the disc fit the baseplaet weird. You have to set ur stance and then mount it. but once we got it all figured out these were the best bindings i had ever ridden. I got the 03-04 with the black and white bindings. These are comfy and good for freestyle with the simiplified heelcup and comfort king straps. And for a good price, what could be better. technine makes the best stuff. Just make sure your shop sets up the heelcup or that u have the right tools to do it.

    Strength:

the heel cup, highback, baseplate easy release ratchets, word

    Weakness:

bolt caps, and straps plastic pulled off board when turning..blah

All I can say is that they lasted. I'm an instructor, and if I can get a pair a bindings to last me the entire season, with just minor reparations needed(straps) I'm happy. These bindings also kept me in a comfy position while riding, and only needed to be re-tightened twice the whole season. so out of the 80+ days I was riding, and I only had to re-tighten twice, I highly recommend these beasts to anyone who likes a good binding

    Strength:

    yup. LIFETIME warranty

    Weakness:

nope. though i'm curious if the foam straps from last year are better than this year's textile ones.

this is actually a review for the 02-03 technine scotty wittlake's but just like last year's model, these binders are bombdiggity. tuff as nails with indestructible metal ratchets and a solid baseplate. the height and stiffness of the highback are dialled and the straps are comfy. all brown in colour and without the extra plastic sidewall thingies found on the other technine pro models, means these will be the last pair of bindings you'll ever need. i even got them for a good price - those are canadian dollars i payed.
