Strength:

Snappy control and great lace up thang.

Weakness:

Weird at first because of the stiffness. Also, expensive at $280 but you can get cheaper.

After travelling all the way to Vail from London I couldn't believe it when I discovered that I'd left my Nitro's at home. Doh! I reluctantly went to one of the few snowboard shops in Vail and was told that it would cost me over $100 to hire a pair of boots. What a rip off. I decided to buy a pair and after spending a couple of hours in the shop bought the Driver. It felt very different to the others and it was so stiff that it reminded me of a ski boot. The response from them was great although it was weird getting used to the stiffness. I used them every day for 2 weeks without any problem and really got confident with them. They've got this great quick tie thing on the tongue which means you can get the boot pretty tight before doing up the laces. Also, used it in slushy wet conditions in France later in the season and didn't experience any leaking like some of the other reviews mentioned. I knew that you could get these for around $200 - $220 and I was totally ripped off at $280 but I was in Vail with no boots, there was powder everywhere and the sales assistant was a babe.

Strength:

-that matrix liner -heel always stays in place -soft

Weakness:

-theyre just too expensive, here not anyone can afford them, Ive seen pretty good riders using moto (you cant see that in Austria or Italy) -too expensive

I have just bought them and havent tried them out on snow (not the ones i bought) but have tried them at the demo house. Theyre great. Real stiff. You can tighten that matrix liner as much as you want.

Strength:

warm, dry and comfortable all day.

Weakness:

I dont like the color

These boots are warm, dry and comfortable. They have alot of support and I would buy them again if I had a choice. I tryed about fifteen different high end boots at demo days and these and the Burton Ions beat every other manufacturer.
