Patagonia Silkweight Capliene Crew First Layer Tops

Patagonia Silkweight Capliene Crew First Layer Tops

DESCRIPTION

Silkweight's microdenier fibers make it the fastest wicking and fastest drying of all underwear weights. A silky surface reduces friction between layers. When it's cold outside and you want a luxurious touch next to your skin, layer smooth, moisture-wicking Silkweight under other weights.

Hi, I have been buying Patagonia mens and womens products for 16 years, and have been happy with the merchandise overall. I like the silkweight for its durability, easy washing, fast drying, fast evaporation of sweat, and easy layering with other clothes. Silkweight does end up with a slight sweat smell that won't wash out though. The womens sizes are not large enough for me though and I am not a big girl at all!

Customer Service

Hi, I have been buying Patagonia mens and womens products for 16 years, and have been happy with the merchandise overall. But I do have big concerns! What upsets me most is the return policy and how they claim just send it back! I used to have no problem sending things back, say when the elastic from a pair of expedition weight underwear lost its zing or the elastic lost it in their Baggies shorts. They sent me a replacement back pronto or my money back. But recently, they won't take back things I buy. I bought about 8 silkweight capliene shirts in different colors. I only tried them on and didn't like some of the colors on me, so I washed them and returned them. They were in totally perfect condition! They then sent me back the shirts and said they would not refund my money. The next year, I bought a Patagonia R3 mens jacket and discovered a design problem with the pocket design, where the zipper caught on the inside pocket material, preventing the pocket from being unziped. I returned it and they wrotea nasty letter to me to say they prefer me not to do business with me anymore!
The other compaint I have is that their womens sizesarre

This thing was fantastic- used it for a couple of years climbing, biking and travelling around Africa and after at wash it still looked clean and new. One day I threw it into a hot tumble dryer, which was a stupid mistake as it is now permanently wrinkled.

I have not been able to find these in the UK, so I'm ordering a couple of replacements from the US.

awesome shirt. when I got it, I used it to cut grass on a hot day, and even though I sweated like a pig, the shirt stayed dry as could be. You could wipe your forehead with the sleeve, and it would be dry a minute later. A little pricey though, with regular price around $34. Just wait for a sale like EMS's club day 20% off sale like I did. I just wish I bought more than one
