No complaints here. Used by itself for cool fall days or as a layer underneath gore-tex jacket for skiing. Pit zips and reinforced critical areas are valuable features. Highly recommend.

Warm, comfortable and adjustable.
Couple of grips. No pull tabs on the breast pocket zippers so it's very hard to access the pockets with thick gloves (I put on tabs from Eastern Mountain Sports). Also, the tabs on wrists to attach glove straps ripped off after a little inadvertant tug-- not very durable.
Nevertheless this jacket is terrific otherwise. Has take a couple tumbles in the washer without pilling or fading.

The Marmot Tech Sweater is a great garment when paired with the Marmot Alpinist jacket. The pit zips match up and are easy to access. The sleeves are extra long so they don't climb up your arm when wearing it under the jacket. The 200 Polartec is just right weight for both wearing as an outer garment as well as under the jacket
