Mountain Hardwear Chill Factor Alpine Jacket Fleece Tops

Mountain Hardwear Chill Factor Alpine Jacket Fleece Tops

DESCRIPTION

The Chill Factor Alpine is our most technical standard fleece jacket. It has fleece's comfort, its performance when wet, its breathability, and its light weight. Add reinforcements to key areas, pockets that are placed away from pack belt or harness, a one-handed waist drawcord, extra-long pit zips, a high collar that protects your neck from the cold, and Power Stretch cuffs that won't absorb water and you've got fleece that is muscled up enough to work as outerwear.

I love this jacket!! It is the perfect weight for wearing under a shell without getting too hot, but it can also be worn by itself. The pockets and pit-zips match up perfectly with my FTX Ultra. The FTX Ultra has pass through pockets which match up with the pockets on this jacket allowing me to store stuff in my fleece but access it without taking off my shell (I wear a large shell and a medium fleece).

I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a high quality fleece that is extremely comfortable to wear. Oh, by the way, it breathes incredibly well too. Now that my wife has seen mine, she wants one ASAP.

Thank you Mtn. Hardwear for such quality and workmanship.

Super comfortable! I can, and have, slept in it like a baby. It is just warm enough, but not too bulky, to easily become a favorite. It is really the only fleece jacket you will need. Ever since I found this all of my other fleece (other than thinner layers) stays home.

damn! this jacket kicks ass! it's great for everything. the pit zips are super long, but a bit hard to undo. it's got pocets galore, and easy-to-use-with-one-hand drawstrings. a great addition to anyone's arsenal. a bit expensive though. i mean, it's a couple hundred dollars for fleece.
