This is my favorite jacket and I have used for evcerything ... dahiking, skiing, backpacking in all seasons. I add insulation in severe winter with a primaloft parka and a P'gonia Xpedition weight fleece. Only problem was that the seam over the left pectoral split after only a few uses. I was going to send it back to Patagonia for repair, but I didn't want to wait 6 weeks so I fixed it myself. I can't go anywhere without this jacket! (although it feels a little geeky in town .. so for that I wear the Pgonia Arctic Synchilla jacket). I call Patagonia "Patagucci" though ... IMHO, I think everything of theirs is overpriced, as is Arc'Teryx. Customer Service Never used. Repairs may take 6 weeks. Similar Products Used: R3 and R3 jackets, Mtn Hardwear Monkey Woman fleece |

I love this jacket as it fit all of my criteria: a really warm, compressible fleece jacket, which does a pretty good job of blocking out the wind. Also, I have a petite frame and it actually fits me well and not bad in terms of style. However, I'm not so sure that I would buy it again if I had to pay full price. |
