Excellent jacket in almost every way. I have had mine for 7 years now and wear it VERY often. The warmth is sufficient for anything above freezing and coupled with my Patagonia Torrentshell, I can withstand any wind, rain, and snow in comfort. There is one gripe: The hand pockets should be lined because the mesh isn't warm enough (true with several Patagonia jackets). Other than that, the fit on me is perfect and even flattering. Remarkable products from a company that totally respects the environment - one of the only ones that actually do. It makes their stuff a little pricey but I feel it is worth doing my share to help the great outdoors and get great products to boot.

Customer Service

FANTASTIC! Everything has held up great except for the stitching under one of the arms came loose (after 6 years of wear). I returned it to Patagonia and in less that 2 weeks total, it was back like nothing ever happened - free of charge!! Just amazing service I have gotten no where else.

I love this fleece! 1 exterior chest pocket for easy storage and two exterior side pockets with a neat design feature--fleece, unlike other materials, is designed to seal in body heat. The side pockets are mesh material on the inside so that your body heat in effect warms your hands. I also own the Patagonia Liquid Sky Jacket, which isn''''t made anymore, and the two are incredible together--breathable and waterproof on the outside, and warmth and comfort on the inside. I understand the sizing complaints, although I don''''t have one. These are really standard sizes that don''''t accomodate to height or arm length. Because of this, I wouldn''''t order this online--try it on first. I''''m about 5'''' 10'''''''' and around 200 pounds and the Large fits me fine--not tight, not too loose, just average. If you aren''''t an average size, like your heighth or arm length, this fleece may fit weird. But for me it''''s great. Problems are that it isn''''t windproof (which one would expect for around $100), and that it doesn''''t have pit zips. I do reccomend this fleece though--very comfordable, excellent quality (organic cotton, so forth), and good looks. But I would look at North Face Denali fleeces too--about $50 more, and about the same warmth, but more pockets.

Patagonia makes a superior product. All of their synchilla fleece line has done both my husband and I well. The products are lightweight, durable, machine washable, and functional. I particularly like their women's line. There are few outdoor gear brands that carry a women's line that is comparable.

This reveiw is for the Snap T. It has served me very well over the past 8 months. I go to school in MI and am from Cali so I need warm clothing to get me through the harsh winters. The Snap T has held up under all conditions. I did how ever purchse a medium thinking that it would be sized for form fitting but it is a bit loose. If you are looking for more of a performance fit down size and enjoy. I hope you love this jacket for i most definitly do.

The best fleece jacket ever. It is durable and very well made. The zippers are pit in straight and the neck is lined with a nice strip of nylon cloth. The lenght is exactly right for the jacket to be worn as an isulation layer or as an everyday cardigan. I would very much like to buy some more of these!

I agree with Michael. What's up with the sizzing? An extra large is really for fat guys and a large is to small for anyone over 6 feet tall. What if you're over six feet and not a fat guy? Well, you get to buy an extra large and swim in it. Whatever happened to tall sizes (large tall is my true size). Anyway, back to the jacket. This is my second patagonia synchila jacket (my first one was a large and ended up being to small). This is the OG jacket that they've been making for like 15 years and their experience shows (the first one I bought was 85 dollars, the price goes up almost every year). Synchilla fleece is warm and light. You can wear this jacket on your next trip on the sierra high route then throw it on for a night out clubbing. The only drawbacks are that it's not windproof (I'd expect that for $118) and that the sizing is messed up (this is more of a general clothing problem I have), The bottom line......I'll buy another one when I wear this one out.

They have a warehouse in Reno so, if something goes wrong I take it there.

Comfortable jacket, versatile. I bought it XL to layer with layers underneath and shell over, but especially because manufacturers do not account for athletic types with longer arms. I jsut don't think maufacturers factor in that if you layer then the arms should be cut longer than snug. This jacket does NOT zip into North Face jackets, that changed three years or so back when every manufacturer went to their own zip teeth and size. The polartec does nap a bit, and actually lose its fleece along sleeves, but then again I've had mine for nearly 10 years. Also, ALL polartec jackets without drawcord hems, using the lycra stretch hems, pill and become a bit unsightly, but I've overall enjoyed my jacket, and it always keeps me warm.

Customer Service

Excellent customer service, and interesting catalog pictures and stories.

Great jacket. I have had mine for 6 years, lots of abuse, it is the universal jacket, super breathable, and super warm with a shell. Worth every penny. Just bought a Classic Windproof Jacket from Patagonia, ah, very nice. Good Job Patagonia!!!!

This is the best fleece I've ever had! I had it for 5 years and there's NOTHING worng with it. I used it from hiking in the Tetons to playing football in it. I swear it gets more comforatble the older it gets. None of the stitching has came apart and trust me when I say this, I've abused the hell out of this thing. This fleece even zips into the North Face gore-tex jackets.

Great Fleece! This jacket has held up well through several backapacking trips. I've abused it on more than one occassion and it has held up strong. It's been washed a bunch and the fleece has not beaded.

The only drawback is the size. It's my fault, but I bought it one size to big. This makes it hard to use under a shell in winter conditions.
