REI BiPolar Tech II Fleece Tops

REI BiPolar Tech II Fleece Tops

DESCRIPTION

Polartec 200 BiPolar fleece makes this an excellent insulating layer or outer layer for all kinds of adventures. BiPolar's dense velour outer face is treated to resist wind and water, while the plush high-pile inner face traps body heat. Supplex nylon reinforces the shoulders, providing protection from backpack strap abrasion.

Great jacket. It's very comfortable, with a roomy fit for layering. The pit vents are nice in cool weather, as it is a heavy jacket. Lots of places to store gear: Chest Pocket, 2 Side Pockets, and 2 Internal Pouches. The cuffs are covered in fleece so they are soft too. I've tried on some other jackets where the elastic (or whatever that material is) cuffs rub against your wrists and are uncomfortable - not so with this jacket.

On sale now for $35 - much cheaper than comparable fleeces by North Face, Marmot, or Mountain Hardwear.
