Burton T6... wicked board! I was riding the women's Feelgood ES. Tried the T6 on a demo day at the resort and loved it. Nice spring/pop to the board, excellent edge to edge and very easy to swing in the turns. Fantastic for carving. Great control at faster speed. Beautiful light weight. Best board I have ridden. Tried the Vapor too but found the stance width a little wide for women and softer than the T6/not as much spring in the board. Highly recommended.

This is the most badass board! I spent a day with it at baker and was so pumped!!!!! I have always riden libs, this is my first burton- and I am super impressed. If you like speed this is definately the board for you.

Loved the response, felt super solid inbounds and out and light enough to get off the ground as well. I'm certainly a freerider so I can't speak much to performance in the park etc.

And on another note I would just like to say that women need mot shy away. For all of you badass chicas out there, you should definately not overlook this board.

Here is an engineers point of view of the Burton T6. I have been snowboarding for ten years. I started on a Burton and will always ride a burton. I'm a east coast rider now riding the rocky's. My set up is Burton ION 2006 boots, CO2 bindings 2006, and the T6. I've riden the packed powder and fresh powder. This board slices through the packed powder like a katana blade through metal. It holds on ice like a mountain goat. I feel the G-forces in every turn with no instabilties. This board is made for speed freaks. I wouldn't take this board out for the early season it doesn't take rock damage well. You can hold it up to the light and see the honey comb alum construction. This is the best board on the market for pure curving.

The T6 is probably one of the most gnar boards you can own...the second comment said he was let down and the board damaged soon after he bought it...well he doesnt know how to ride the T6...you dont just take this board anywhere...it is made for big mountains and powder/freeriding...this is the ferrari of the burton boards..however if you arent a experienced rider you will skrew this board up if your not careful..its a beautifully engineered board so treat it that way..you land wrong on it or something like that its ruined...but if you want a board that will tear the mountain up at high speeds and you can control it.. this is the board for you...if you want a board for the resort or park or something to get wicked to freestyle on...get something else...its not for you

The board is good: quick edge to edge, all-round, holds it's edges well. Good in powder too. This is the latest board in a long series of Burton boards that I have owned. I've always been very happy with Burton quality, but this one is a letdown. The top skin (lacquer) layer started *cracking* after only one week of snowboarding. Not scratches, but cracked top skin. Ver very disappointing for this class of boards. So, until Burton have resolved this issue, due to ageing, or mismatch between lacker layer and board elasticities, stay clear of this one.

Customer Service

Used to be fantastic and forthcoming. Now: major letdown. My board was gone from 12 August until end of September only to hear that they won't do anything about it. Essentially, the customer service is laughing at you.

The Burton T6 exceeded my expectations! I was a little nervous about it at first because I heard it is not for beginners. I got this 2002-2003 season T6 in a trade for somtething I had for sale on eBay. I decided to try it out on my second snowboard trip ever. Went to Hunter Mt in New York. Snow was hard pack with lots of ice but he T6 held on! Once I got the confidence to get up to speed the T6 had great handling. I was much more in control than my previous outing on a rental board! I don't have much experience snowboarding so I can't compare it to other boards but I can tell you that I am very happy with my board.

Fu*kin awesome board:light, fast as hell, and really really good for carving. This board has great edge to edge response. Also, the fact that the core is 90% air makes this board the lightest burton has ever made. You can just hop a little off some tiny roller and get major air time. I hear that you should not ride this board if you are a beginner, but i'm not so i dont know.overall greaaaat board.Totally sick. Im a freerider, dont really do much park or pipe, so i dont know how it handles with stuff like that. I've used it on freshly groomed runs as well as on a foot and a half of pow, carves awesome on both.By the way, i dont really remember the exact price.^_^
