K2 Bike Spitfire Freeride

K2 Bike Spitfire Freeride

DESCRIPTION

All new all mountain shapes spawned for intermediate riders plotting against pipes and inclined toward daily freeriding descents. These boards are the ultimate definition of versatility. The Spitfire and Spitfire Wide are identical excepting the latter’s greater waist width, which accommodates those who are podiacally challenged. Features include a Mach 2000 extruded base that requires little maintenance, directional design, tapered tail, progressive sidecut and Elite cap construction for simplified and superior turning. Our new light wood core and 3D corrugated top sheet combine with biaxial fiberglass for rigidity, spring and response.

Strength:

i think the board has some sweet graphics with a mountain range on the top and base. easy to turn and carves well. edges seem to stay nice and sharp. seems to have a good base. will have to give this board a 4 only because don''t have much to compare and contrast it to or it would get a 5.

Weakness:

haven''t found any yet

so far been a very good board. good mountain range graphics. i put a sun shaped and colored stomp pad above the mountains makes it look even sweeter. i have ridden it 6 or 7 times and haven''t had a problem with it yet. at first i bought the satallite for $250 but took it back with out riding it and got the spitfire for the better graphics, steps up to the mach 2000 base instead of 1500 and has four fiberglass strengthing strips, one on each side running down the effective edge and two shaped like a V by the tail i thinks it add a little more pop. the 3 is for price $300 bought early in the season probally could have got it cheaper later in the season only if they would have one in the size i liked?? which was a 155.
