K2 Bike Wisdom Wide Freeride

K2 Bike Wisdom Wide Freeride

DESCRIPTION

K2’s lightest board for aggressive all-mountain riders has been made possible by Elite cap construction, K2's patented carbon and Kevlar reinforcements, internal torsion forks and a Mach 4000 Gallium base. Both the Wisdom and Wisdom Wide contain a top-secret ultralight wood core which sits inside a full-wrap, narrow-profile edge. The result is a board that holds all the answers. With razor sharp response from its tapered tail and an interior of perfectly balanced strength and nimbleness, the Wisdom elevates turning control. The regular version comes in a medium waist; Wisdom Wide is, you guessed it, wider for bigger feet.

Strength:

None that jumped right out at me!

Weakness:

I think the guy that posted before me said it all. WEAK!

When first looked at this board I was quite impressed with the weight to stiffness ratio.. thats about as far as the good impressions went.. After waiting for board for about 1.5 months, only on my third day out did it break right under my back binding.. this wasn't even three full days.. we're talking about two nights and then half way through my day the thing broke.. Not cool and not impressed..

Strength:

Best sidecut for a wide board on the market, perfect stiffness

Weakness:

Weak?

I love the way this board rides, best wide board out. Only prob, 15 days on it and I snapped the core at the tail, only freeriding, no bails, no park, nothing, K2 were real a**holes about the warranty too, and wouldn't cover it. So beware, it rides great, but don't hold out on it lasting all that long
