I bought this board at the beginning of the season to learn on. I have been wakeboarding for several years and thought I would give snowboarding a try. Got 30 days in so far this season. I learned so fast on this board, no one can believe I have only been riding one season. It is stable and forgiving, but responsive at the same time. Not to mention bomb-proof. I had a few run-ins with some trees and rocks at Whistler this week, and you cannot even tell. This board handles all conditions and all terrain flawlessly.

Strength:

Takes you to the next level in Dropping Cliffs Stomping Landings Rocking Moguls Riding Very Fast

Weakness:

Not enough edge to edge Not enough flex For purposes of 1/2 pipe.

I love this board. You simply can''t go wrong with the NS Premier. This board has no real weaknesses. However, the abilities that you gain from riding this board make you wish it had more strenghts. It simply slams any cliff that you can muster the nuts to drop. You can land on concrete and not feel it in the knees. Dampening layer also makes it great for sticking landings. It is fast as frick. I''ve had to work up alot of strength just to keep up with my board. This board even kills the moguls. I''m much furthur along on my learning curve thanks to this board. The one place where it doesn''t just KILL is in the pipe. Gonna have to get a pipe board.

I tell ya this is one tough board! I know! I had a small mishap allready this season. Someone didn''t close the Thule box on the truck and the damn thing flew out over the front of the car and hit the pavement. It was quite funny actually!Believe it or not, there wasn''t even a scratch on it! No chips or broken edges. It only lost some wax. I actually did more damage to the board riding that day at Stratton MTN Vt on the ice than when it hit the road! As for the performance of this board. I have only used it twice so far and it has improved my riding 10 fold allready. It simply rips. The realy test will be January 25th when I go to Colorado to rip it up. See you on the trails! SAFETY TIP-Make sure you close the Thule Box before you leave your driveway.

Just had a go on a new 168 T5, that board is cooool. Super smooth and stable, wicked fast, it just cuts through any sheeit. It''s mellow sidecut makes it a little light in quick turns but it also means it rides beautifully when going to down steep icy slopes and bumpy pistes. Oh yeah, it''ll also stomp any landing, even well sketchy ones. I haven''t got a board yet and I''ve been bewildered by the choice available but I''m gonna get me a T5

This board is sick, I haven''t been riding long but compared to new hire boards that i''ve riden like Nirto''s and Rossignol''s this is way better. Responsive, quick, easy transfer from edge to edge. Ride''s pretty well in the park too. A must buy!!

Customer Service

Haven''t had to deal with them yet but with a 2 year warranty, and from the reports i''ve heard about customer satisfaction I don''t think i''ve done wrong with buying a board from Never Summer.

Also had a go on a Burton Custom on one of there demo days. The guys there said that the Custom board is the sh@t compared to my NS, after riding it for about 2 hrs, they can keep it! The Premier kick

I rode the 01-02 never summer premier 159 at a on snow demo earlier this year for retailers. I get to ride all the boards from all the companies my shop carries and Never Summer year in year out delivers the goods for me. I have pretty much a choice of any brand to ride and NS is the board that I ride. The Premier 59 is a great freeride board which is buttery smooth and holds edge really well. The p-tex sidewalls seem to suck up the chatter and the result is a buttery smooth ride. Very responsive from edge to edge, but not so responsive that you always have to be on top of the ride. This board is SIIIICK and I am definitely pro-forming one this season.
