Palmer Gap Freeride

Palmer Gap Freeride

DESCRIPTION

Stroll through the park with a board that has snappy flex and plenty of pop to make it the cream of the freestyle crop.. Tip-to-tail wood core reduces weight and increases strength, all for unparalleled stability and a smooth ride. CCT (Composite Core Technology) utilizes different core materials such as honeycomb and wood for light weight with superior riding performance. Unique cap-sandwich construction takes the best of both worlds for ultimate direction in edge power with better edge grip, control and response. Palmer uses only multidirectional pre-impregnated fiberglass laminates for ultralight torsional stiffness and an even longitudinal flex. Lightweight tip and tail protectors for a low swing-weight and high impact-resistance for protection through rough crud. Isospeed BX base is super fast and durable in all temperatures and conditions, with easy care and repair to boot.

the board rides nice but the quality sucks. I have riden mine 10 times and have blown an edge twice and had to epoxy it back toghether. this is by far the most unreliable board I have ever bought and I do not recomend buying one.

WOW. This board was amazing when I first tried it. Awesome pop, I fly off of even the smallest rollers. It's awesome on rails, and gives you that extra pop off the kickers. It's a bit stiff for manuals, you need to really work it becuase it's a snappy board, but I think that's a good thing. If you want a super loose flexy board, don't expect it, becuase this board is snappy and responsive. It grips the ice like a dream, and it's SO forgiving. In times I would have biffed it on my old board, i was able to ride it out on the Palmer. It's holding up beautifully, the bottom doesn't scratch easily at all. It's good for park or if you just want to fool around on the other parts of the mountain. Performs like a dream on powder, ice, or any condition. A definate killer board.
