Palmer Liberty Freeride

Palmer Liberty Freeride

DESCRIPTION

Lady Liberty would be proud of this women-specific design that features dynamic response and great stability for freedom to carve like the pros.. CCT (Composite Core Technology) utilizes different core materials such as honeycomb and wood for lighter weight with superior riding performance. Tip-to-tail wood core reduces weight and increases strength, all for unparalleled stability and a smooth ride. Honeycomb Kevlar™ cores in the tip and tail make for a board lighter than wood yet with superior strength, durability and performance. Unique cap-sandwich construction takes the best of both worlds for ultimate direction in edge power with better edge grip, control and response. Palmer uses only multidirectional pre-impregnated fiberglass laminates for ultralight torsional stiffness and an even longitudinal flex. ABS sidewalls and tip and tail protectors for high impact-resistance and protection through rough crud and a low swing-weight. Isospeed BX base is super fast and durable in all temperatures and conditions, with easy care and repair to boot.

Strength:

Light, narrow, and soft enough to make tricks easy, but not so soft that it washes out on turns.

Weakness:

Did not come waxed from the factory. Difficult to ride moguls.

Very light, easy to swing around, lots of fun for playing around on groomer days. For a softer board it holds an edge pretty well and has a lot of spring coming out of turns. A little tough to control in the moguls. I don''t know how it perfoms in powder.
