I am 6'0, 220lbs, with size 11 boots. I am riding a 168. This is a lot of board! Quick edge to edge, great pop. Float is great in the pow b/c of huge surface area, but I ride in the east and have mostly hardpack, where it still excels. fast as he11. wide & stiffer board is awesome for stabilizing iffy landings off big jumps or on choppy area landings.

Strength:

cool graphic, stable landing, rides good in pow, good pop

Weakness:

might be little stiff for parks but i'm sure you can work it out

i'm actually reviewing 2003 brand new model of mountain 159. i just bought this board and tried at my favorite place to ride,,,,kickinghorse, and i was very pleased. has nice graphic, perfect for my size 13 boots, picks up speed really good and stable. floats and handles good in powder but i don't know about parks cuz its kinda stiff. but crazy stability when landing jumps. lots of pops and if you don't pay attention, you might get hurt.

Strength:

Fast base Great float Rides shorter than length

Weakness:

Picture of Mt Mckinley instead of Mt Logan.

I am 6'3", 200lbs, with size 12 boots. I am riding a 172, and it feels way shorter! It carves nice big turns, but seems quick edge to edge when it needs to be. Float is great in the pow. I had to de-tune the edges a bit as it was a little twitchy on hardpack. I totally out-glide most skiers and boarders on the flats.

Strength:

floats on the powder, great on the flats turns quick

Weakness:

For me now maybe not stiff enough

wieght is about 220 on a good day. Board has done great for me. As I got better a base grind and bevel did even more. Bevel most of all. Board is great in the powder. Only now 2 and a half years into it. Is it showing that I may be over working the board at speed in turns. Great board may just buy a longer one next. Over 45 times on the board.

Strength:

carves extremely well, lands predictably, and looks good.

Weakness:

top finish is prone to nicks....a little too prone

Nice board. Even though I am a first year boarder, I am better tahn most newbies (i''ve been wakeboarding for 9 years). The board did take a while to get used to, but now I can shred it up on this stick. It is light, absorbs vibrations very well, and lands great. I have size 12 feet, so most boards will toe drag for me. Not this thing. I have been out on a few rental boards, rossi, and original sin, and this board allows me to ride way better. Overall, i love it!

I just bought this board at the beginning of Dec. 01. I was looking for a wider and stiffer board. When I saw this board my mouth dropped. She looked at me like she wanted me! She was stiff not bad looking, do I bought her. Let me tell you the first day I tried this board she made me look like an amateur. After a few runs I managed to gain control and now I''m in love. This board is really stiff, rides extreamly well and is solid all around. This one''s a keeper. If you out looking for a board make a date with this sweet thing!
