Strength:

Super stiff, great edge control, solid on the landings, and great damping at high speed.

Weakness:

In my opinion it might be a little heavy.

This is a very nice board. Super stiff, stomps landings like a champ, holds it''s edge like no other on turns, exceptional control at high speed and has virtually no chatter. On the flip side (inspite of what others have said) this board is a little heavy. Overall this is a sweet stick and in the powder on the steeps or in the park it will perform for you! When your riding this board it gives you a since of comfort and control, as well as big set of nuts to expand your horizons. P.s. I picked this board up with ride e.x. bindings mounted on it, not bad at all.

Strength:

Super-stiff, super-light, super-fast, awesome edge grip.

Weakness:

Not for beginners since it is a bit harder to maneuver due to its stiffness.

Awesome board, holds an edge at high speeds like no other. Super-stiff, super-light, super-fast, no chatter. Great design.

Strength:

Freecarving on hardpack and groomers, not bad on cut up packed snow too. Stiff, good edgehold, good rebound & damp ride. This board is right at home with plates and hardboots too.

Weakness:

Doesn''t like powder, steeps and moguls. Poor candidate for a big mountain board. Crappy wide stance positioning and only an 8 pack insert setup!? Most high end boards have 10 or even 12!

Heard a lot of hype about this board, so I Got the Timeless 167 as a proform belmish model, as K2/Ride didn''nt have any other 167 1st''s in stock to proform. Got this board to be used as a big mountain/backcountry powder board. I''ve tuned it to my liking (edge bevel etc) and dialed it in using both hard boots and plates and soft Clicker HB step ins. The board rode fine at home on dialing in binding and boot combos in the Midwest hardpack. It has the feel of a freecarve, or detuned race board. Stiff, great edge hold on hardpack/ice, good snap and rebound for running crossunders and a good medium raduis crossover turn radius for trench digger carves. Board ride is pretty damp and good over uneven snow and crud. Took it on my road trip to Bridger Bowl,Montana Snowbowl,Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee to see what it could do in powder and big mountain riding situations. It didn''t like powder, even with the bindings positioned all the way back, lots of nose dive. Stance positioning left a lot to be desired, only 8 pack inserts and a very wide center position stance. Wake up Ride, this board is supposed to be marketed to freeriders not 22" wide stance fat pant wearin'' freestyle 16 year olds in the park! Wide stances don''t work well for quick 180° jump turns down the mogul studded Alta Chutes at Jackson Hole. In order to get narrower one must move the rear binding forward, offsetting what little benefit the most rearward positions give you to keep the nose dive to a minimum in powder. Even with a 30lb pack (more weight to the tail) in the back country, it took a lot of effort to get board to plane right in powder. Well at least the pro deal made it cheap! It''ll go cheap at the snowboard swap next year too!

Strength:

Stiff, good edge hold, carves like a dream on packed powder and hardpack, nice bamp feel on crud, cut up snow death cookies.

Weakness:

Poor stance positioning (too wide),only 8 inserts per foot, set up for freestylers, needs to be redesigned for powder and big mountain riders.

I got this board cheap as a proform and a factory blemished model(couldn''t tell)as K2/Ride was out of 167 Timeless. I got this in a larger length, with the hopes that it would be a good big mountain/backcountry powder board to eventually replace my Winterstick Severe Terrain 166. The board is stiff and surprisingly light for it''s size. It is a great freecarve board for steep groomers with tenacious edge hold. I''ve used it with hard boots and plates and a soft boot setup. It works equally well with either combo. The board cuts through crud and uneven snow conditions well, with a moderately damp ride. The main gripes I have about it are the stance width on center position is very wide reminiscent of freestyle board and it only has 8 inserts per foot, most high end boards have 10, some even 12. I couldnt get a narrow enough, rearward stance for real big mountainriding in powder, bumps steep chutes without moving the rear foot forward on the inserts. Narrow meaning around 18" for quick jump turns in steep chutes and rearward to keep the tail down and nose up in powder. I''ve put the board through it''s paces at Jackson Hole,Grand Targhee, the Montana Snow Bowl and Bridger bowl. Doesn''t perform nearly as well in powder and steep big mountain conditions as my Winter ST. The nose likes to dive in powder unless you''re really leaning rearward. Most of this is due to the positioning of the inserts, but the board could use a little more nose kick as well.

Strength:

Carving on all terrain, Good pop on jumps, smooth ride, VERY fast, sharp edges, and §weet graphics!

Weakness:

Wish I would have bought it earlier!

I believe this board has been the best upgrade (besides the binding upgrade) I''ve ever done. It carves flawlessly on the ice, powder, or packed. It pops good on jumps, like said before it gave me a LOT more confidence! I upgraded from my K2 Doublewide 165 to my NEW Timless 158, what a freakin'' change, it''s perfect. Also I have a size 12 boot and I haven''t had a prob yet! If you need or want a new board, get the Timeless!

Strength:

Holds edge well in fast, steep turns. Pop off jumps.

Weakness:

Grabs edge easily when riding slow or switch (must power through it)

The guy who said it was a three is on crack or rides at slow speeds. This board is not for the weak at heart or the slope snails. It wants to go fast and it holds edge like nothing else. It carves insane lines through even the icy conditions of the Big Bear resorts. It has great pop off of jumps and handled pretty good in the limited amount of pipe i''ve done with it.

This board is sick. If you have a chance get this board. The best board I have ridden so far. The guy that gave this board a three rating is nuts.

Edge Hold, carving capability, solid in turns

This board is my new best friend. My second season, I upgraded to the Ride Timeless from a Palmer Honeycircles (great board) and it has lifted my game to a whole new level. It is fast, solidly holds an edge at speed, transitions smoothly, carves beautifully and immediately gave me the confidence to hit the steeps. When you get in tune with this board it hums so sweet. Good in powder. Graphics are so first class. Overall this board lives up to its name – Timeless.

Very lightweight. Fun board. Pretty stable at speed. I don''t particularly like the way it comes through a turn. Not the smoothest board I''ve ever ridden. Not as snappy as a Burton. Not quite as stable as the Volkl.
